Experienced Project Manager

PM Job Description

The Experienced Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and execution of multiple large remodeling projects from start to finish. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong communication with clients, subcontractors, and team members.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of residential PM experience

  • Strong communication + problem-solving skills

  • Confidence running the job site and the client relationship

  • Bonus: design-build or remodeling experience!

Project Leadership

  • Understand, endorse, and support the Mission and Values of Lake Country Builders, LTD.
  • Implement company policies and procedures while providing training and guidance to team members.
  • Develop, gain approval for, and manage project goals, objectives, and budgets.
  • Demonstrate leadership by setting high standards, holding team members accountable, and maintaining integrity in all operations.
  • Attend Project Download and Pre-Construction Meetings to ensure proper planning and execution.
  • Schedule and oversee project production from initiation to completion.
  • Assign tasks and direct the efforts of project personnel and subcontractors.

Client Communication

  • Keep homeowners informed of project status through phone calls, memos, and meetings.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for project updates, ensuring a positive client experience.
  • Keep the General Production Manager updated on project progress and any related issues.

Project Execution & Quality Control

  • Review blueprints and specifications, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Assist in the development of project estimates and budgets.
  • Manage and process change orders, ensuring client approval and documentation.
  • Oversee subcontractor work, inspect for quality control, and coordinate corrections as needed.
  • Conduct job site visits to assess progress, compliance, and safety.

Administrative & Operational Duties

  • Ensure all closing information is transferred to the Customer Service department.
  • Attend project closings and final walkthroughs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose solutions to management.
  • Promote Lake Country Builders, LTD. through professional representation and client interactions.
  • Function as a team player, offering support and guidance to colleagues.
  • Continuously seek ways to enhance job performance and professional development.

  • Perform related duties as needed, willingly and proactively.

Qualifications & Skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
